Beyond Good and Evil (June 5th – 19th, 2010)

Posted in Exhibitions by ps31 on June 4, 2010

” I derive inspiration from Hegelian dialectics whereby flux in society is the result of contradicting forces. My recent paintings are based on the contradictions between theocracy and secularism, Jihad and the War on Terror, the political ideology and political practice that have shaped the history of Pakistan.  I study these opposing forces without delving in to their morality so that my work can present the Truth, which is beyond good and evil.” — Abdullah Qamar.
